AH301 Flush Mount

The Ciholas AH301 Flush Mount is a plate that works with AN302 to mount the anchor to a ceiling or other flat surface.

Screws are not provided for surface attachment. Screws for the AN302 to attach to the Flush Mount are the captive screws on the AN302.

Usage and Application

The Flush Mount is intended for deployments where AN302 units are mounted to a flat surface.

There is no requirement that the anchors be mounted in the same orientation, but consider rotation of the anchor if mounting a large quantity in a visible space.

Mounting Patterns

The following hole and slot patterns are available for use:

The Flush Mount supports the following hole pattern for M4 or #8 self-tapping screws:

Mounting Instructions

General Instructions

This installation example uses additional hardware that is not provided.

  1. Select the appropriate hole or slot pattern for the mounting application.
  2. Place the flat surface of the AH301 against the mounting surface.
  3. Attach AH301 with appropriate screws to the mounting surface.
  4. Pass Ethernet cable(s) through the surface and AH301. Provide enough cable length for a service loop to allow the anchor to be removed and disconnected.
  5. Plug Ethernet cable(s) into the connectors on the back of the anchor.
  6. Align the AN302 backplate with the threaded bosses in the AH301. Twist to adjust as needed. Press AN302 and AH301 together
  7. Install AN302 to AH301 with the captive screws. Use a T20 drive set to 0.68 N-m (6 in-lb) of torque.

Drop Ceiling Tile

This installation example uses additional hardware that is not provided.

  1. Select the appropriate hole or slot pattern for the ceiling tile. Cut or Drill holes for the Ethernet cables and mounting hardware.

  2. Place the flat surface of AH301 against the ceiling tile.

  3. Attach AH301 with appropriate bolts, washers and nuts to the ceiling tile.

  4. Pass Ethernet cable(s) through the tile and AH301. Provide enough cable length for a service loop to allow the anchor to be removed and disconnected.

  5. Plug Ethernet cable(s) into the connectors on the back of the anchor.

  6. Align the AN302 backplate with the threaded bosses in the AH301. Twist to adjust as needed. Press AN302 and AH301 together.

  7. Install AN302 to AH301 with the captive screws. Use a T20 drive set to 0.68 N-m (6 in-lb) of torque.

Electrical Box

This installation example uses additional hardware that is not provided.

  1. Select the appropriate hole or slot pattern for the size of electrical box. Place the flat surface of AH301 against the box.

  2. Attach AH301 with appropriate screws to the mounting surface.

  4. Plug Ethernet cable(s) into the connectors on the back of the anchor.
